The Cisco Learning Network on the Jive Mobile App

1. Download and install the Jive mobile app from either the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store.

Check the most current system requirements before you download the Jive Mobile App.

2. Launch the Jive Mobile App on your phone or tablet

3. Under Jive URL, type in the Cisco Learning Network web address https://learningnetwork.cisco.com then click “Continue”

4. In the Log In screen, you will be prompted to enter your Cisco.com ID and password, and then click the “Log In” button.

Once you have successfully logged in, you will be directed into your Cisco Learning Network profile Inbox.

How do I create a new discussion, send a private message or update my status?

1. Click on the List/Grid icon on the top to expand the menu, and then click “Create” on the bottom left corner.

2. From the list of options, choose the content you want to create: Discussion, Status, Message, etc.

3. For a new discussion, type in the discussion title and then type in your content in the discussion body. Under Visibility, select a place where you want to publish your content (i.e. CCENT/CCNA R&S Study Group).

4. Click on “Publish” when you are ready to post your new discussion.

How can I view my created content or the discussions I’ve participated in?

1. Click on the List/Grid View icon on the top to expand the menu, and then click “Me” to view your profile.

2. In your profile, click on “Activity” to display the discussions that you’ve participated in or to view your other community activities. Click on “Content” to display the content that you’ve created (i.e. Discussion threads). Click on “Places” to display the groups that you’ve joined or followed.

How can I find and participate in existing discussion threads?

1. Click on the List/Grid icon on the top to expand the menu, and then click the “Find” option.

2. To help you browse existing discussions, use the search box and type in a keyword or topic (i.e. CCENT) to get a list of matching results. Specify your results by selecting: Content, or People, or Places.

3. To add a response to an existing discussion, click on the “Reply” icon and then type your comment.

How can I view my content streams?

1. Click on the List/Grid icon on the top to expand the menu. You will see a list of your current streams, including any custom streams that you created.

2. Click on “All Activity” to see on-going real time updates from the entire community. Click on “Connections” (your primary stream folder by default) to see your content updates.

How can I follow or stop following a place or discussion?

1. On any space or group page (i.e. CCENT/CCNA R&S Study Group) click the options icon on the top-right corner, and then click the “Follow” button

2. In the “Following In” page, click on a stream to select it. Selected streams will display a blue check mark. Then click “Done” to start receiving updates into your stream.

To stop following, click the stream to un-select it (blue check mark will disappear), then click “Done”

How do I sign out of the Cisco Learning Network?

1. Click on the List/Grid View icon on the top to expand the menu, and then click the “Settings” option.

2. In the Settings page, click “Sign Out” on the top right corner.
